“I think perhaps love comes from finding someone you feel utterly comfortable with, someone who makes you comfortable with yourself. It’s like…finding yourself, or maybe it’s like finding the other part of yourself.”
- Candice Proctor
We are surrounded by love in the wedding industry. Our passion is to capture the love of couples and bring it life through their vision. We absolutely love what we do, but more than that, we love to give back. Covid-19 wasn’t anything anyone expected and the consequences it had on our lives are still being felt today. It changed our industry, but it didn’t stop love. Pure love is strong, resilient and perseveres at whatever life throws at it. During the summer of 2020, we had the amazing opportunity to give back to a lovely couple who had to cancel their wedding due to Covid. It was a true gift to be able to spoil them with a photo shoot in Wyoming (more to come about the 2020 Photoshoot Giveaway) that we had to do it again.
When we heard Kyle and Amber’s story, we knew they were perfect! Here is their story (shared by Amber):
"My husband is Kyle Siddoway, we have been together for 5 and a half years and married one. We got engaged the summer of 2019 and had a July, 2020 wedding planned. We initially planned on having our ceremony and reception at the Heritage Barn in Lyman, WY but due to COVID we cancelled and attempted to plan a small/intimate ceremony at my in-laws. We were very conflicted on what would be the safest way to proceed with the ceremony so, unfortunately we cancelled again. I worked for a bank for 7 years and in April of 2020, I made the difficult decision to leave and pursue law enforcement. It was definitely another obstacle to navigate around during the trying times of COVID and getting married. After cancelling our wedding we decided to go to the court house to get a marriage license and be married by the justice of the peace. Again, we had obstacles to overcome. Our local court house would not see anyone due to COVID. We called all surrounding courts and finally located a court who agreed to helping us with a license and would marry us in Jackson, WY. We drove through a blizzard and when we arrived were told they could help us with the license but no longer could marry us due to the recent lockdown laws. We drove back to Rock Springs and was able to find an ordained minister, who is a close friend of my husbands, to marry us. We had our honeymoon booked to Maui and had to cancel due to the 2 week quarantine law for all non residents arriving on the island. We could have rescheduled but we were unsure of what my schedule would be like once hired on with Rock Springs Police Department. It was truly heartbreaking but what was happening around the world was more heartbreaking and most important. We just focused and appreciated the love we share and knew it was enough. ️ We still plan to book a honeymoon sometime in the future."
We took pieces of their vision (florals, color, theme) and surprised them with a romantic setting for two on the salt flats. The weather couldn’t have been any better, it was truly magical.
Kyle and Amber were a true joy to work with and we couldn’t have ask for a more perfect couple. We had so much fun bringing to life smiles and laughter and to watch their love for one another shine bright. What a true honor it was to bring sweet moments to reality for Kyle and Amber. We wish them both so much love, joy and happiness for the rest of their lives.
Now for those details…
We could not have done it without the amazing…

Stems & Co. - We had no idea Tina was originally doing florals for Kyla and Amber. It was perfect as she already knew their vision and was able to put together the most beautiful arrangements for the photoshoot giveaway.
Lovely & Amazing Cakes - Ainhoa never disappoints. She went above and beyond with the stunning wedding cake by adding detailed patterns that matched Amber’s dress!
Snassy Crafter - We love gauze table runners and Gisela is our go to whenever we need them. Her products are high quality and she is so wonderful to work with.
A big thank you to my husband, Matthew (a.k.a Day of Assistant) for helping me build the beautiful table out of wood scrapes during peak prices in lumber.

Now how about those fat bikes! We couldn’t help ourselves, fat bikes seemed like the perfect adventure among the snowy Wyoming backdrop. Plus, who doesn’t like a good adventure before getting down on one knee!?
Aren’t they adorable!? A very big congratulations to Kodee and Neale! She said YES! (P.S. Neale actually proposed a few days before the photoshoot, it was perfect timing!)
Check out those amazing ice bar doors! They are covered with bison fur and the handles are bison horns. Are you ready to check out the inside!?
The ice bar at the Jackson Fork Ranch is one of our favorite spots - the coolest places in town! We had the honor of meeting the one and only Mary Gibbons (helped build the Icehotel in Artic Circle of Sweden), the creator of this very ice bar. Her creativity truly brought the only self sustaining ice bar in the lower 48 to life. The bar, the glasses, the tables, and chairs are all made of ice! Beautiful carvings embrace the ice bar walls, you can even see the light beaming through the buffalo on the last picture above. It’s truly incredible, a once in a lifetime experience. Now, are you ready to warm up?
No better way to end the perfect day all cozied up with your love dreaming about forever - simply magical!
There is nothing like a romantic winter proposal featuring an adventure on fat bikes, celebrating your love over drinks in a one of a kind ice bar, and dreaming of forever all cozy in a warming tipi. We hope this has inspired those of you who are dreaming of a beautiful proposal a midst the stunning winter Wyoming backdrop.
A huge thank you too…
The Ice Bar at Jackson Fork Ranch - We are serious when we say this is one of our favorite spots. Along with delicious drinks served in ice glasses, you can enjoy delicious small plates while enjoying the ice bar. In addition to fat biking, you can cross country ski, ice skate, or even try curling! To top it off, everyone you interact with at the ice bar is amazing. It’s hands down a one of a kind experience that we tell everyone about. We can’t thank them enough for allowing us to capture a winter proposal on their beautiful piece of Wyoming.
Geared Up - We can’t thank Andrew, the owner at Geared Up, for introducing us to the ice bar and providing the awesome fat bikes for the photoshoot. Andrew also spends countless hours grooming the trail out there so those who would like to fat bike or cross county ski can do so. Check out Geared Up and give fat biking a try - he offers rentals and a trail pass to adventure out at the ice bar.
We have said it before and we will say it over and over again, Sydney with White Buffalo Photography and truly amazing! She is so sweet and has a natural talent for capturing love stories. We are so excited to be able to show off her work once again and can’t wait to show off more in the future.
Congratulations to Kodee and Neale! We wish you both a lifetime full of love and joy!
